How do you reset yourself? You know, sometimes your phone goes wonky and you just need to shut it off and turn it on again. You restart your computer when it goes slow and starts to flicker. So, how do you reset? What do you do when life seems wonky and you just can’t seem to get started on some tasks?
My reset is to clean. Two hours to clean my house, my brain gets a break, I can think of solutions to problems I’ve been working on and a clean house gives me a fresh way to start. For me, with a clean house, I feel like an artist with a blank canvas, I’m ready to create. Yes, I know, this does not work for most people. Who needs a clean canvas when you can just paint over an old one. Your reset is personal, it is unique, it is what works for you. If may be running, it may be cooking or is it a mystery to you?
This labor day, with a little extra time, reset yourself. In that time of reset, figure out how you’re going to do for the rest of 2016. What do you want to accomplish? What do you need to accomplish? Labor Day celebrates contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country; this labor day, find your reset and think about the contribution you need to make for the strength, prosperity and well being of yourself.
I love this!
