When We Fight, We Win. The Twists and Turns of a Body in Motion.

I had almost 3 hours of body work this afternoon and apparently I’m holding stress everywhere. Knotted and shortened muscles and out of alignment limbs. It’s easy to blame the 50 yoga classes in the last 4 weeks, but it is not. That’s has kept things mobile. The cause is the presidential campaign. I don’t understand how it can be so close in the polls with the campaign Trump Campaign of cruelty, anger, rage, lies, mocking and belittling. Is this who we are as a country? Trump can be charismatic. When fact checked, most of what he says is untrue. With the infamous interview with the National Association of Black Journalists, Trump said the 35 minute delay was because of microphones. IT WAS NOT. The delay was because he, Trump, would not agree to live fact checking. Trump, after the interview with Elon Musk and comments that Trump sounded like a racist Daffy Duck he issued this statement along with cleaned up audio.

By the numbers, it’s about 50% +/- 3 points for the candidates. Some people see a tight race. As an African American I see an uncomfortably large portion of the population as racist. You can not endorse this blatantly racist candidate and say you are not. I take that back, for the 1% of the population that is exceptionally wealthy, yes you can. He will protect your wealth and seemingly your best interest. But the rest of y’all, how?

Trump has AI ads, like black voters for Trump and Swifties for Trump. All this from the man who last week said Harris uses AI to boost the crowd sizes – she should be disqualified. Make it make sense, but you can’t because it doesn’t. The list goes on and on. It’s too much. Vice President Kamala Harris said in a recent speech, “when you know what you stand for, you know what you fight for.” Time to fight for truth, honesty and the joy of democracy. This week, consider what you stand for and what you fight for. To be continued…
