The mind is the future, the body is the past and the breath is the present.

This was a stressful week. Years ago when people would tell me to calm down and take a deep breath. What I called a deep breath, was actually a humph of indignation. Don’t tell me to calm down and some breathing is not going to do it. In the years since, I’ve learned, wow the breathing thing actually works. Focusing on breathing, slow steady breathing, calms your mind. Slow steady breathing enables your body to move and bend.

You have got to breathe to balance your mind and body. The mind is the future, the body is the past, you  bring them together with breath.
